Great location 10 mins walk from the catherdral area / bars.good value for a budget traveller
Basic room and bed. Ground floor room and you could smell the drain access occasionally

I had a sink in a room and the access at internet free in the room.
I didn't like the clearness of the room, the water in the badroom was cold and the lack of the window in the bathroom.

I only stay for one night. Very central. Could be noisy as it's right in the middle of town.
If you have a car it's a pain. The reception is not on the actual Hostel but a few hundred meters from it on another hostel managed by the same company.

excellant location in very centre of city, secure front door, good price
have to check in at hotel round corner and leave key deposit, loose windows let a lot of noise in as in heart of city.

The hotel was really central and easy to access independently, as in you didnt need to go through a reception everytime you went in and out.
The bathroom flooded when we used the shower, it seemed the drain was blocked.

hotel staff very unpolite. ask to pay 3% more if payment by credit card. Room no.2 is in first floor noisy as in market, can hear very word people talks from alley downstairs. The closet is blocked by radiator and lavabo is not well placed.

Some of the staff in Generalife were very helpful but the staff I met on arrival were not particularly helpful -
The other disappointing thing about the hotel is that it has no reception; ie it is unattended. You have to go to the reception of a partner hotel which is about 3 streets away to register and if you need anything from the staff. It is a real pain to have to do this especially with heavy bags and after a tiring journey.
